What Do You Do When Your Hands Start To Fail?
It all started when I began to experience difficulty with my hands. Just part of aging I guess! First it was numbness, then pain, then actual weakness in my hands.
This is tough when you operate a nursery business and pruning is part of your daily activities.
I will make this story short! We found a manufacturer to make us a line of pruners for people like me. And... we are now making them available to others who need a set of pruners which are easier on the hands.

My Nursery Business
I have spent most of my life working with trees, shrubs and other plants. My wife and I own and operate a tree business in Canada, Nova Scotia to be exact. And before developing the nursery business I grew up on and operated a fruit orchard.
So you see... pruning has been a very large part of my life. Pruning is one of the best cultural methods to optimize fruit trees for good production and to improve the shape and form of ornamental plants for market. It is a study all in its own and is really quite amazing how we are able to alter and manage the growth patterns of plants with pruning and other cultural activities.
Thankfully, pruning has been something I have enjoyed a great deal. I still love to get into it and spend a few hours in my nursery. We no longer operate fruit orchards but still have about 75 acres of nursery tree production.
